The Cursa dels Nassos is Catalonia's New Year's Eve race. On 31 December, thousands of runners cross central Barcelona in a running party with costumes, a great atmosphere and champagne waiting on the other side of the finish line.
The route links some of the city's most iconic corners: Parc de la Ciutadella, the medieval lanes of the Born, seaside Barceloneta and the elegant Passeig de Gràcia. A lap of the most beautiful Barcelona at race pace.

The course starts around Parc de la Ciutadella, crosses the Born quarter with its medieval lanes, drops down to Barceloneta by the sea and climbs up Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona's most photographed boulevard, before crossing the finish with the old year still on its feet. 10 km through the heart of the city on the last night of the year.
The profile is practically flat and fast, typical of an urban 10K through central Barcelona. With no notable climbs, it's an ideal course to run at a good pace or to enjoy the New Year's Eve party without suffering.
On 31 December. The name comes from a Catalan tradition: on the last day of the year people have as many noses (nassos) as days left in the year — that is, none. Over 10,000 runners see out the year in one of Catalonia's most special races.
